Drones are used in all theatres, by state and non-state actors. The war in Ukraine drives their rapid technological development.

Attack-drones accounts for as much as 80% of casualties on the Ukrainian frontline. To avoid detection, RF is replaced with other means of drone navigation.

Small units and dismounted soldiers are often left without protection or early warning.

Current counter-UAS solutions are heavy, single-sensor systems — not suitable for individual protection of the frontline soldier.
