Once a concept is developed and validated, one or more patent applications are filed. This establishes international prior art protection and provides a 12-month window to refine claims in dialogue with patent authorities. To retain the original priority date, international patent applications must be filed within this timeframe.
The scope and character of each concept guide the selection of regions where protection is pursued. This staged patenting strategy ensures early ownership, reinforces defensibility, and builds a robust foundation for global commercialization and strategic partnerships.
Prototypes are developed through Joint Ventures, ideally in collaboration with carefully selected industrial and capital partners. Public grant applications are leveraged to secure non-dilutive funding, while external product developers may be contracted when specialized expertise is required. Pilot customers are engaged early for testing and validation, and critical product certifications are identified and obtained to ensure compliance and market readiness.
